Exiled without the Circle’s protection, Chase has spent two years trying to survive a world riddled with half-demons and magic. When he has a run in with a frightened and seemingly innocent demon, he learns the Circle’s agenda has changed: the Circle plans to unlock a portal and unleash pure-blood demons into the world. Vowing to stop them, and knowing he can’t do it alone, Chase forms a reluctant alliance with Rayna — a sexy witch with an attitude and a secret.
In their attempt to stop them, Chase and Rayna find themselves in the middle of the Circle’s plan, leaving one of them to decide what their friendship is worth, and the other’s life depending on it.

My Review:
Vampires, Demons and Witches? Oh My!! Well played Mr. Merrick. Well played. For some reason, I am JUST NOW finding myself getting into Urban Fantasy books. With that said, I don’t think I could have asked for more when it comes to this book!
Here you have Chase. Swoon worthy, sweet baby Jesus I just want to watch you and your tattooed self kick some demon butt – Chase. I will forever LOVE that this book was written in the POV of Chase. It is not often you find books written from a male perspective and it completely worked in this book. Epic win Mr. Merrick – Epic.
Rayna – what’s not to love about the girl who kill shots the demon who is currently getting the best of you?! Yeah, you know he thought the same thing! (: Here you have this mysterious girl who kicks ass and takes names on a later date. Who just also happens to be half demon. Throw the both of them together and you get the masterpiece that is Exiled.
Thought this book hardly touches on any romance – even though my wishful thinking gene was kicking into overdrive! – it was amazing in so many other ways. I fell in love with the bond that formed between Chase and Rayna. It wasn’t one of those, touchy feely; oh baby I love you – let’s get married 3 days after knowing each other kind of bonds. It’s more along the lines of a building bond. You watch as the two of them build this relationship built on trust, something they both have issues with. The back and forth between the two of them had me laughing continually. I just freaking loved it. Oh! Let’s not forget about the secondary characters! Most of all, Willy!
I know this isn’t a typical review from me, but I honestly didn’t want to give the book away. This is one of those, you just HAVE to read it to understand the hype type of books. Trust me, it’s well worth it!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have you read Exiled? Do you plan to?!

this sounds amazing. I love urban fantasy and the more paranormal creatures the better. Great review. I can’t wait to fit this read in.
